Trish Hoffman was raised on Salt Spring Island and has spent more than 20 years teaching young children. Since 2019, she has been part of the Salt Spring Early Learning Centre team, where she creates play-based, inclusive programs inspired by the BC Early Learning Framework and the Reggio Emilia philosophy. Trish is passionate about making children feel safe, curious, and supported as they grow. She enjoys working closely with families and colleagues to create a welcoming and nurturing environment.

Janice Shields is a certified ECE/IT/SPN, coming into her fourth decade in the Early Years sector.  She has been an Infant/Toddler Educator, assisted young parents, coordinated of numerous child care programs and a long time facilitator of Strong Start.  She has supported many children with special needs over the years and has been an advocate for Early Childhood  Education most of her career. It is her honour to be the Manager of Little Rainbows Early Learning Centre.
