Jaylene Kaye has been in the field for 25 years. She received her Special Needs Worker in 1998, Early Childhood Education certification in 2003 and a Montessori Diploma in 2019. She has been employed at the Gulf Islands Early Learning Society as the Executive Director since 2013.

Trish Hoffman is a certified Early Childhood Educator (ECE) that joined the team of Salt Spring Early Learning centre (ELC) as a preschool teacher in March of 2019. She has 30 years of experience as a mother, 21 years working in the field and 13 years as a certified educator.  Her approach and practice is Reggio inspired and being an ECE is a passion of hers. It is her absolute pleasure, and an honour to her to be a part of each child’s early years.

Janice Shields is a certified ECE/IT/SPN, coming into her fourth decade in the Early Years sector.  She has been an Infant/Toddler Educator, assisted young parents, coordinated of numerous child care programs and a long time facilitator of Strong Start.  She has supported many children with special needs over the years and has been an advocate for Early Childhood  Education most of her career. It is her honour to be the Manager of Little Rainbows Early Learning Centre.
